The solar power plant Noor (Arabic: محطة نور للطاقة الشمسية), is a thermodynamic solar power plant that entered service in February 2016 near Ouarzazate in Morocco.
With 160 MW, the plant becomes the 7th largest thermodynamic solar power plant in the world, after 5 US plants in the forefront, followed by the Solaben power plant in Spain.
Its expansion, programmed in three stages, will bring its power to 580 MW, making it one of the largest solar power plants in the world, with Solar Star (en) in California.
